Description
Thoroughly redesigned from stem to stern, the all-new third-generation C/K trucks beginning in 1973 proved to be the longest-lived series in Chevrolet's history, and the three-box styling has proved quite popular since. Aside from wheels and hubcaps, there really wasn't much that was round anywhere in the design - other than the body sides that featured a sculpted character line with a central plateau panel - resulting in them being affectionately known as 'square-body' trucks. Now an icon of the truck community, this custom 1974 Chevrolet Cheyenne Super 10 known as 'Syndicate Series 1' was painstakingly and meticulously built by Squarebody Syndicate using only the best products the market has to offer, with many one-off parts like the aluminum air cleaner and steering wheel, used to replicate a stock appearance. Powered by a crate LS3 V8 engine dressed by Holley Performance to look like a stock 350 connected to a 4L65E automatic transmission, it rides on a custom Porterbuilt chassis using an Accuair E-Level suspension system for smooth yet responsive ride and performance.Attention to detail and the blending of the old with the new can be found throughout, including the full leather interior with New Old Stock OEM seat inserts, and one-off wheels with powder-coated whitewalls. Wearing its original Catalina Blue and Frost White colors, the striking truck has won multiple accolades, including the General Motors Design Award at SEMA, along with the top 5 Chevys of SEMA 2015 and the coveted Street Trucks 'Truck of the Year' award in 2016.
