Description
SALE PENDINGOriginally designed by Henrik Fisker, the Aston Martin DB9 debuted in 2003 at the Frankfurt Auto Show as the replacement for the outgoing DB7. Although the car kept the timeless lines Aston Martin has been known for, it featured dramatically updating styling that drew instant praise from journalists and the general public. Once the car went into production and became available in 2004, the positive reviews and reactions continued to come, thanks in part to a 4.1-second 0-60 time and a top speed of 183 mph. Although it wasn't the fastest car in the Grand Touring class, it more than made up for that in comfort and luxury, providing a superb all-around driving experience. The engine was the same 6.0-liter V12 found in the Vanquish model, rated at 440hp and 420 ft/lbs of torque. A 6-speed manual shift transmission was available; however, most cars came equipped with the 6-speed ZF automatic with semi-automatic paddle-shifting.This 2005 DB9 has covered just over 9,300 miles from new, benefiting from being a one-owner car in a well-kept collection. It's finished in Slate Blue with a Sandstorm Tan interior featuring matte-finish burl wood trim. It rides on the factory 19' alloy wheels, stopped by Brembo six-piston calipers up front and four-piston in the rear. It features the sequential-shift ZF transmission with paddle-shifting. All servicing was done at the dealership by factory-certified Aston Martin technicians.
