Description
Heading into the 1969 model year, Chevrolet engineers left the Chevelle mostly unchanged, adding subtle styling tweaks, such as a horizontal chrome strip across the grille and larger taillights that flowed into the styling of the quarter-panel. The 300 series trim was dropped and the SS 396 was turned into an option package rather than a stand-alone model, yet buyers were still offered a choice of 325, 350 or 375 horsepower.This particular Chevelle SS came equipped with the 350hp engine, backed by a close-ratio 4-speed manual and 3.31 posi-traction rear end. It has undergone a highly detailed and documented nut-and-bolt restoration, beautifully refinished to its original Garnett Red exterior with black interior. Included with the car is a book of documentation containing an original Build Sheet, window sticker, restoration photos and various purchase documents. Additionally it has 2 sets of tires, the BF Goodrich radial T/A's currently on the car for driving and a set of Goodyear Polyglas F70-14's for a show level period correct look
