-- SALE PENDING -- Purchased at Bay Harbor Ford, Florida, this 2008 Shelby GT500 coupe was delivered in Torch Red with black/red leather accents. Coming fully equipped with options ? including satellite radio, HID headlamps, navigation, GT500 Premium Trim Package and ambient lighting ? it had an original cash purchase agreement from the dealer of just over $56,500. After completing the sale in October 2007, the owner later delivered it to Shelby American in Las Vegas for the full 725hp Super Snake upgrade and conversion, with a sales order totaling $35,995. The build was completed in February 2009. Shelby upgrades take the GT500 to Super Snake status using a long list of racing parts, proprietary Shelby parts and expert installation, pushing the 5.4-liter V8 to 725-plus bhp. A complete list of modifications from Shelby Automobiles’ Las Vegas headquarters are documented on the sales invoice included for the new owner. Inside the car there are auxiliary pressure gauges for supercharger boost, fuel and oil mounted atop the instrument panel and the requisite dash plaque showing the unique Shelby serial number of CSM 08SS0064. The CSM number also appears on the fleece-lined indoor cover that is red with black stripes (specifically made for Super Snakes) and an embroidered collector Shelby Super Snake leather jacket (which was never worn) going to the new owner. Also included in the purchase are period magazine articles, two keys and fobs, owner’s manual, Shelby certificates, build details, original sales order, vehicle invoice, original certificate of origin, Shelby invoice, service records and Super Snake floor mats still new in the box. Coming with all documentation from both the Ford dealer and Shelby American from new, this one-owner, clean-CARFAX Shelby GT500 has just over 6,300 miles on the odometer.
