Description
-SALE PENDING-Following the success of the Model T, Ford introduced the Model A in 1927. Featuring numerous mechanical improvements over the predecessor, Henry Ford focused on a design that would simplify the manufacturing process and allow for increased production. By mid-1929, over two million Model As had been produced and sold across several different body styles. This particular Model A roadster has been restored to original condition, powered by a 201ci inline 4-cylinder engine and 3-speed automatic transmission. The exterior features glossy black paint with wire wheels, dual taillights and a luggage rack. The inside is fitted with a leather bench seat and door panels, and features a tilt windshield. Additionally, the car is equipped with a deluxe rumble seat in the rear to accommodate extra passengers. A tan LeBaron Bonney canvas top brings everything together to complete the classic look of this roadster.Although millions of Model As were built, many examples were wrecked or hot-rodded over the years, making a nicely restored original example like this hard to come by.
