Description
In 1952 Ford unveiled its new car lineup, featuring rearranged model designations from previous years. The entry level Mainline was the base model, followed by the mid-level Customline. The Crestline was the top of the line and now encompassed the Victoria hardtop, Country Squire Wagon and the Sunliner convertible. Buyers were offered a choice of a 215 cubic inch inline 6 or 239 Flathead V8 engine. With an original MSRP of just over $2,200 Ford sold over 20,000 Sunliners, which accounted for only a fraction of overall sales that year. This 1952 Sunliner is finished in a deep maroon with tan interior. It features the 239 flathead V8 backed by a 3-speed Ford-O-Matic transmission. It features a factory power convertible top, heater, factory clock and original AM radio. A continental kit with the spare tire has been added to complete the nostalgic look of this 1950's cruiser.
